A successful sale in Shepherds Bush

We were asked to sell a quirky flat with bucket loads of character – right up our street!

The sale of the two-bed apartment in a popular Art Deco building called The Grampians in Shepherds Bush was looked after by our Sales Manager Javier.

After an initial meeting with the existing owner at the property, we knew everything we needed to about the place and how to sell it.

It had originally been bought for the owner’s son to live in while he was at university. Now though, it was time to sell, so we put it on the market for £299,000.

We weren’t surprised to get a bunch of people interested. Enquiries came in thick and fast, we carried out some viewings and before long we had an offer.

But despite moving quite quickly with this sale and getting an offer in a flash, our eagle-eyed Javier noticed that the property market was also moving at lightning speed and that our customer’s property had gone up in value. (We do love to be kept on our toes).

After chatting with the existing owner, we remarketed the property at £50,000 more than the original price – and it sold! Another success story from Outlet and a testament to how closely we keep an eye on the property market.
