Masked Ball Office Photo Shoot

So the office has been a hive of activity this week. Packages arrive steadily throughout the day with things for the W.I.G. party’s Masked Ball. Posters, masks and stuff are everywhere. We’ve still got some room in the office to move around, but that shouldn’t last long.

If you don’t have your ticket for the 27th, come in and get it now. You don’t want to miss the Masked Ball. It’ll be great fun with the gorgeous and outrageous of London dancing away. The posters say ‘Masks required. Clothing optional [hmm…]. Be Yourself’. Why be yourself? If you wear a mask, you can be anyone you want! And it benefits National Aids Trust, so you can feel good about indulging your hedonistic urges.

We also had to rearrange the office for the annual staff photo shoot and before that there was the monthly staff meeting. The place was a right mess. You had to climb over boxes and cables, dodge around the gobos, be careful of the thousand coffee mugs and left over pastries from the meeting. Any semblance of order was destroyed.

Chris Jepson is a terrific photographer. Each year he makes us younger and younger--without Photo Shop. I’ll work in the office until I reach 20 again. I can’t face being a teenager once more. Josh bought new ties for the photos—everyone except for Michelle. I told her that she should have got a scarf. In all this we still dealt with flat seekers walking into the office. They were a bit astonished at all that was going on, but we were able to talk to them and try to help them.
