Have you ever considered working in property and wandered what it might be like but do not want to jump right in without knowing exactly what it is all about.  Well here at Outlet we love to give keen, enthusistic people the chance to see how a busy real estate office works and a taste of what working in the property world is all about. If you like people and property this could be the ideal career (or even a part time job) for you.

Outlet has been around for over fifteen years and is involved in some very exciting and perhaps to some, less exciting, projects. Each project and in fact each separate business module has a different customer base with varying needs. Can you cross communicate to all of them in an interesting and engaging way?

Working as an estate agent be an incredibly varied job, with lots of travelling during the day as well as a proportion of office-based work. The working environment is often busy and can at times be stressful, however the diversity of skills associated with working as estate agent could be suited to many people looking for a job that requires them to tackle each day on the hoof.

Being an estate agent often employs many different skills, including sales valuations and negotiations skills, organisation and administration skills, as well as a proficiency marketing and promotional activities

Work experience at Outlet usually lasts from four to eight weeks and this time frame allows for a substantial look into various roles within an estate agent environment. Although work experience does not necessary lead to a job within the industry the insight gained can be invaluable in gaining an advantage when applying later along the line for a specific job at an agency. Any work experience should be added to a personal CV to show you have worked within a specific industry.

For the right candidates Outlet is able to offer travel expenses for work experience candidates.

An ideal candidate might be a university student, people from a PR background or even someone who has spare time in between other commitments. Just be prepared to be inventive, socially aware and get a kick out of communicating with people.
